The Cherrybrook

Originally built as a farm house over 200 years ago, The Cherrybrook is located at the very heart of the Dartmoor National Park and takes its name from the nearby Cherry Brook which, together with the East and West Dart rivers and the Walla Brook provides a tranquil haven for fly fishermen and walkers alike.

Wistman's Wood is a half-hour stroll away - our back gate opens directly onto the open moor, there are walking routes for all levels of abilities - from short easy strolls to more demanding treks into remote areas.

Our 7 ensuite rooms offer fine views, power showers, TV/DVD players, tea and coffee making facilities and free WiFi Internet access. We are happy to offer evening meals with prior notice, our tariffs include full English breakfast. Dogs are especially welcome, owners have access to our fenced 3 acres for those early morning and late night walks, using our specially mown paths. We can also recommend routes on the moor suitable for your dog.
